Manifest

The Manifest for Sport in Bizkaia will be our collective, shared and ambitious vision that is born from sport but looks far beyond the current sporting ecosystem.

We want to build a framework that includes all the people in the region, including those who do not currently participate, do not have access to it or do not feel part of sport, and which guarantees genuine opportunities throughout life.

It is not just a document, it is an open invitation to imagine and jointly build a more inclusive, innovative and accessible sport for all the citizens of Bizkaia.

Process

The process will be open, dynamic and inclusive, incorporating an intersectional perspective that recognises the actual diversity of those who live in this region (Bizkaia). We will listen to different experiences, work with schools, federations and municipalities and combine all these voices in a common vision. This will also allow us to build a shared manifesto, with social and institutional creditability, capable of promoting a more equitable, innovative and participatory future for the region as a whole.
